Craig and I had errands to run today that were pretty far south of where we now live. So we decided to make the trip back home a “remember when” drive. We had a really good time. We saw the house we used to live in (very sad….it was in terrible condition). We saw the school the kids attended 2nd&3rd grade (Adam) and 4th & 5th grade (Jes). We drove by the apartments Denver lived in while doing KBM mission work for a summer. It is right beside our kids school building!! (Amy…I wasn’t sure where you stayed when you were here….was it the same place Denver stayed? Also…what years were you guys here?)

We also saw the Praire Dog fields that were close to our house. Our favorite eating places (Taco Bell and Burger King. Hey! We were POOR back then!! . We also drove by the house of several friends that have now moved on. Kinda sad but happy too.

It was a nice day. Nothing monumental…just a nice version of normal. Ahhhhh…..sometimes normal can feel SOOOO good!

What kind of normal makes you feel good?
