A Blog and An Apron

Wow… I’ve spent almost all day either working on my blog page or reading other blogs. Craig introduced me to stumble and I’ve had a blast!! I found several new sites that I have bookmarked so I can go back later and check them out in detail. I listed a couple of them in my Daily Reads section.

I’ve started sewing again. Those of you who have asked me to sew something over the past two years will realize how happy I am to be at that place where I can sew again without the weight of my Mom’s death dragging me down. So…what’s my first item to sew? Aprons! I just have to decide which one to make first. :) Do you wear an apron? If so…what type? Kitchen, gardening, crafting? What style is your favorite?

Do you realize you just put up 2 posts per day for the past 2 days?? You’re setting a precedent here.

LOVE the new look of the blog. LOVE the idea of you sewing aprons. I only wear one to cook because I am a filthy cook. I hope you’re sewing them for craftygirlz because I will be buying some. Vera Bradley could use some decent competition! I’m really glad you are at a place where you can/want to sew again. That makes me very happy.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE craftygirlz.com!! I’m so proud of you and excited for you. YOU are the craftiest girl I know and this business is going to be a raving success. Craig did a superb job on the site, too.

    Love ya.

Thank you so much! I think I just figured out that blogging is actually me saying out loud what is going through my brain at any given time!! That could be VERY frightening! :-)

CraftyGirlz is exciting and scary. I just don’t want to let any of the artist’s down. Nikki is SO incredibly talented.

I wear one to clean so my iPod can ride in the pocket and I can listen to a podcast. (Makes cleaning a little bit more fun :) No pocket, no good!

What a fun idea! I’m into “matchy-matchy” mom/daughter aprons (while Cameron will still let me get away with it!) and maybe some very simple aprons that can be monogrammed. You know how we are in the south! So proud of you! What took you so long? julie

Took awhile to get an empty nest! ;-) Good to hear from you. I invited you to be a friend on Facebook. Well…at least I think I did. Hope it was you………
